I really enjoy reading autobiographies about my favorite athletes that i watch religiously on TV. Like you mentioned, we know the player very well but how well do we know the man/woman behind the jersey?

The fame surrounding these people often times blinds us all so we never get the chance to know these people for who they truly are. We see them as athletes and not as normal people.

Autobiographies like “The Real McCaw” give us the chance to learn what these people are really like and afford us the opportunity to become even more inspired by them. We get the chance to read about their struggles, their victories, how they made it to where they are, and who inspired them.

These gladiators that we are infatuated with are simply human beings like you and I.

Exactly! We all see the man with the ball on the pitch so we don’t really know the suggestion he had to get there that’s why I like to read these as it give me more knowledge about the man behind the jersey

I would love to read all the autobiographies of these top rugby legends. I love watching the game, so I want to learn more about these legends. The previews of these autobiographies are eye catching. I will start off reading about Dan Carter as I am interested to know how he overcame his troubles to become a star. Often, we can get inspiration from other people’s story.
